What is the best diet? Finding the answer could take a lifetime unless it doesn’t. Let’s look at what’s right in front of us. And allow it to nourish both body and soul.
My breakfast this morning is frozen mango chunks and raspberries microwaved for 30 seconds, a big dollop of fat free Greek yogurt, and the tinniest drizzle of maple syrup (which is hard - why do they make the maple syrup bottles with such a wide pourer!?)
That sounds so delicious! You are inspiring me with what I have on hand already. Thank you, Kelly. So true about the wide spout. I was gifted with a now vintage Tupperware syrup container from my mother-in-law with a little spout. But I'm not sure it always limits how much I pour on ;). If your diet overall is lower in sugar, there is room for enjoying maple syrup on a healthy breakfast. Kind of like brown sugar on oatmeal. If a moderate amount of sugar helps you enjoy a healthy food then that is the place to have it.
