I have put so much stress on myself, for too many years, to be the perfect hostess. I missed that it is not about what we do and what we serve, but how our family (or guests) feel. If they feel love, if they feel welcomed, you are giving them a gift they will savor more than the food. I bet you have shown this hospitality, Kate.
I enjoyed reading this post. At the moment, Jesus is invited to my desk. ~
I love that, Tracie! Peace at your desk is restful too ☺️
Except for the distraction / diversion of the Entirenet. ;-)
I have to admit, hospitality is not my gift, it really stresses me out. I always feel it has to be perfect. It's hard to change.

You put it so well. I wish my mother would have taught me this from the beginning, it would've changed so much. You are so right.
Thank you for this Jane , such a reminder . It is truly lovely to know he wants to come to us , sit with us , all we need is to listen .
Restful just thinking of this, isn’t it, my friend?
