🌟New! The Contented Table Kitchen Diary
Plain Jane Kitchen Inspiration 🥄
Do we ever try a new recipe without a picture?
It’s rare for me. Unless it’s tried and true from a friend or I just enjoyed it, I likely will skip over a recipe without an accompanying picture.
The inspiration to prepare it is from liking what we see.
Or, sometimes we just need an idea of what to make next.
Recipes are easy to come by with a quick search and we may already have a recipe. If we just had the idea.
What recipe to search for or what to make, can be fleeting.
That’s the reason behind the Contented Table Kitchen Diary. These are quick snapshots of what I have been cooking or baking lately.
Nothing fancy. Including the picture.
I hope they inspire you to build positive food memories.
I hope they remind you of foods you enjoy creating but have forgotten about.
And I hope they give you an idea of what to cook next, if you need one.
Won’t you pass along your kitchen inspiration?
Let’s share what has been cooking in our kitchens in The Contented Table Community Chat.
Add an imperfect picture - somehow they are more encouraging than one that is perfectly staged.

Love the appearance of real, authentic food made at home!
I enjoyed seeing the variety of what you've been making. I would love for you to feature the Tex Mex Casserole in your recipes, I think my kids would it enjoy it.
